Description:
The AL425 / AC630 Meter can be supplied with an optional pulse output capability part number 607110. A magnet is located in the last (far right) number wheel and the pulse output is provided via a magnetically actuated voltage free reed switch. The electrical instrumentation attached provides the power to detect the opening and closing of the magnetically actuated voltage free reed switch. Reed switch rating 100 Vdc, 0.25Amps, 10 Watts, -20 to +70 ºC and contact Form A SPST-NO.
The 607110 index is designed to be installed during manufacture and hence is not field retrofittable, i.e., metrology seals have to be broken to install the index.
The pulse output provides a pulse every 1 cubic metre (m³) registered by the meter. For lesser values an optical sensor can be used to detect the rotation of the direct drive pointer every 0.05 cubic metres (m³) registered by the meter.
